STIHL MS 162
The STIHL MS 162 Petrol Chainsaw is a practical entry-level chainsaw designed for homeowners looking for reliable performance when cutting firewood, pruning branches and carrying out occasional tree maintenance around the garden.
Powered by a 30.1cc STIHL 2-MIX petrol engine, producing 1.2kW (1.6hp), the MS 162 combines efficient cutting performance with reduced fuel consumption. Its compact design makes it an excellent choice for general domestic cutting tasks.
The supplied 30cm (12-inch) guide bar and 3/8" P saw chain provide controlled cutting performance for preparing firewood and managing smaller branches and trees.
STIHL's integrated anti-vibration system helps reduce vibration transmitted to the handles, improving comfort during use. The practical side-mounted chain tensioner also makes it easier to adjust the saw chain without working directly alongside its sharp cutting edges.
A transparent chain oil tank allows you to check the oil level at a glance, while the combi-lever with stop function simplifies operation and makes restarting after interruptions more convenient.
Combining dependable STIHL engineering, straightforward controls and useful features, the MS 162 is a capable petrol chainsaw for homeowners maintaining their gardens and preparing firewood.
